- The claiming process allows users to stake MAV tokens for a selectable duration to receive veMAV, which is a non-transferable governance token.
- veMAV holders can participate in governance voting and earn additional incentives.
- A separate Governance Airdrop Snapshot will be taken at the launch of Maverick ve-model Stage 2 (Liquidity Directing Voting Mechanism).
- 10,000,000 MAV will be distributed pro-rata to veMAV holders who stake for at least 1 year. These tokens will be automatically staked for 4 years to generate more veMAV.
