Eligibility for the OmiseGo (OMG) airdrop was based on the following requirements:
Ethereum Wallet Holders
- Must have held more than 0.1 ETH (strictly greater than 0.1 ETH) at the snapshot (Ethereum block 3988888, July 7, 2017).
- ETH must have been in a wallet controlled by the user (not on centralized exchanges).
- OMG tokens were distributed proportionally to ETH holdings at the snapshot.
- No claim required; tokens were automatically sent to eligible wallets.
Important Links
- OmiseGO later rebranded as OMG Network and was subsequently tied to Boba Network.
- The airdrop encouraged participation in OmiseGO’s PoS system and broader token distribution.
- Many recipients received small amounts due to the vast number of eligible addresses.
